Type 1:

  • Here the SASSI questionnaire appears on the computer screen and the client fills it in at the keyboard. The computer then plots the results on a profile graph and provides a brief written interpretation.
Type 2:
  • Here the client fills in a paper questionnaire as usual, and it is scored in the normal way by the practitioner. Then the practitioner enters the scores into the computer, and the computer prints out the hypothetical psychological client profile. Materials needed are as above, plus a Computer Disc with the requisite number of administrations.
Computer Software Product information:

The SASSI software is a Windows-based programme that must be installed on the hard drive of an IBM or compatible PC and operated within the Windows environment. The minimum system requirements are:

  • Pentium class processor, 133 MHz or higher (200 MHz recommended)
  • 32 MB RAM (64 MB RAM recommended)
  • 48 MB free hard disk space
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Windows 95 or higher
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 (included on the SASSI CD)
Technical back-up is provided with both electronic versions.
